Leave Howrah by Train dep. at 19.40 hrs. for Chandigarh.
Transit
Arrive Chandigarh at 03.20 Hrs. Then proceed to Shimla by Tempo Traveller. Arrive Shimla by lunch time and transfer to Hotel.
After breakfast half-day local sightseeing. Evening free.
Early morning leave Shimla for Manali, breakfast and lunch will be served enroute. Arrive Manali in the evening. Rest.
After breakfast return excursion to Rohtang Pass (Optional) back to hotel in the evening.
Full day free at Manali.
After breakfast return excursion to Manikaran.
Early morning leave Manali for Chamunda. Arrive Chamunda in the evening and transfer to Hotel. Rest.

Wagah Border remains open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and the Beating Retreat Ceremony (about 45 minutes long) is held at 4:15 PM during the winters and 5:15 PM during the summers. In order to get the best seats to witness the closing of the gates and lowering of the 2 countries’ flags, try to reach by 3:00 PM.
The Golden Temple is about 30 km from the Wagah Border and it takes approximately 40 minutes to reach via car.
When you visit the Golden Temple, make sure to sit at the Guru ka Langar which serves free nutritious food to people of all faiths. It is open throughout the day (24 hours) which means you can sit to eat whenever you visit the temple.
Some of the best food you can try in Amritsar includes Amritsari Kulcha and Daal, Channa Bhatura, Chhole Bhatura, Parathe, Dal Makhani, Rajama Chawal, Sarson Da Saag with Makai ki Roti, Amritsari Fish and Lassi.
