The capital of the state of Assam, Dispur, is located within Guwahati. Serviced by Lokpriya Gopinath International Airport towards the west and India’s first fully solar-powered railway station at its heart, the city is well connected to other regions of the state and India.

Famously regarded as the gateway to North-East India, Guwahati is the largest city in the state of Assam. It is also the largest metropolis in the entire North-Eastern region of India, making it the most preferred staging point to other destinations in the region.

Kaziranga National Park is one of India’s national treasures in terms of flora and fauna. Located in the state of Assam in North-Eastern India, its total area is shared by the districts of Nagaon, Golaghat and Karbi Anglong placing it roughly at the centre of the state.

A beautiful city encircled by pine trees, Shillong is the capital of Meghalaya. It derives its name from Lei Shyllong, an idol worshipped at the Shillong Peak. Standing as tall as 1496 meters, this hill station is known for its weather, picturesque locations and traditions. This place is also known as the ‘Scotland of the East. One can find descendants of the Khyrim, Mylliem, Maharam, Mallaisohmat, Bhowal and Langrim tribes.

Day 1Howrah Railway Station

Welcome to Guwahati Shillong Kaziranga – Abode of Temples & clouds- 10 Days Tour.

Leave Howrah by Train for Guwahati dep. at 15:50 Hrs.

Day 2Arrival Guwahati

Arrival Guwahati at 09.30 Hrs and tranasfer to Hotel. After Lunch visit Kamakhya Temple and Balaji Temple.

Day 3Guwahati - Shillong

After Breakfast Leave Guwahati for Shillong by Tempo Traveller. Arrival Shilong at Lunch time and after Lunch Local Sightseeing.

Day 4Excursion to Cherrapunji

After Breakfast full day return Excursion to Cherrapunji. Evening Return to shilling.

Day 5Visit to Mawlynnong Village

After Breakfast visit to Mawlynnong Village & back to Shillong at the Time of Lunch. Rest.

Day 6Shillong - Kaziranga Forest

After Breakfast leave Shillong for Kaziranga forest. Afternoon arrival Kaziranga forest and transfer to Hotel.

Day 7At Kaziranga

Early morning Jeep Safari / Elephant Safari (at own cost) at Kaziranga. Evening free for Individual activities.

Safari Zones in Kaziranga National Park

Kaziranga is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an Important Bird Area (IBA). For the convenience of management and conservation, the national park is divided into 4 zones: Kaziranga Range, Western Range, Eastern Range and Burapahar Range. One safari of one zone is allowed at a time.
