One of the most charming valleys in the whole Kinnaur District, Sangla Valley is a perfect getaway from the hustle bustle of the swarming cities. It is named after a beautiful village by the same name.
One of the twelve districts of Himachal Pradesh, Kinnaur is located on the Indo-Tibet border. Situated at a distance of 235 km from Shimla, Kinnaur hosts the views of Zanskar Valley, snow-draped Dhauladar range, Chitkul – The last village on the indo-Tibet border and have Satluj, Baspa and Spiti rivers meandering through it.
Also known as “Land of God”, the most important attraction of Kinnaur district is the religious “Shiva Lingam”, the representation of Lord Shiva and the mesmerising rock formations change its colours several times during the day.

Arrive Chandigarh at 03.10 hrs. and transfer to Shimla by Tempo Traveller. Day free.
Early morning leave Shimla for Sarahan by Tempo Traveller. Evening arrive Sarahan and transfer to Hotel.
After breakfast leave Sarahan for Sangla. Arrive Sangla by lunch time and transfer to Hotel. Rest.
After breakfast return excursion to Chitkul by Coach. Return to Hotel by lunch time. After lunch free.
Early morning leave Sangla for Kalpa via Recong Peo. Arrive Kalpa by lunch time and transfer to Hotel. Day free.

Less commercialization. Not as crowded as other Hill Stations of Himachal Pradesh. Scrumptious fruits are grown here. An ideal place for trekking and camping.
Sangla, located in North Indian State of Himachal Pradesh does offers North Indian cuisine. However, with large number of Buddhists residing there, one will mostly find dhabas serving famous Tibetan dishes like Thukpa, momos and dumplings etc. Apart from that, eating joint options are quite limited.
